Kurosawa Concert Classical Guitar
Handmade in Japan circa 1968
It's a concert guitar so it's nice and loud, with pronounced basses and lyrical trebles.

It has some normal signs of wear due to its age but is overall in excellent condition. Please see photos.
This guitar has an interesting background.
I bought this guitar off a young guy who was doing some handyman job at an old lady's house.
He was asked to clean out her house. There was an old guitar in the corner in one of the rooms.
He asked her if he could have it. She said yes.
A few years later he decided to sell it and listed it on gumtree.
I rang up and he said he wasn't home but the guitar is on the porch of his house and it was guarded by his huge dog.
I went to his house, summoned the courage to face a huge barking dog, had a look at the guitar and knew I found a treasure.
Covid19 hit and like many schools I had to shut doors. I started selling my guitar collection to make ends meet, so I listed this guitar and many others on eBay.
One day I received a message:
"Hi, just thought you might like some background on the Kurasawa.
It was owned by a guitarist in Shepparton who used to play it live on the local radio station 3SR, in the 1980s.
I bought it from his widow and learned to play the guitar on it around 2005.
My teacher, Paul Wookey was always very impressed with the instrument, and when I progressed to a Martin steel-string, I sold it to a backyard dealer near Frankston, or down the Peninsula somewhere.
It is a beautiful instrument, certainly one I would have kept, but it had to go to finance the Martin."
This guitar certainly had a colourful history and had been through many hands. This has helped shape its sound. I can with certainty that this guitar has a soul, and you can hear it from its true tone.
