This guitar was made on 02/10/1990 in Nagoya, Japan.
The M80, together with the M70 was part of the "Artist" series. They have a more complex tone and are generally warmer compared to the M30, M40, M50 and M60.
They are also made from higher grade tonewood, their tops have finer and straighter grains compared to the lower models of the same era. They also have nicer binding and embellishments.
The sound is nice and focused. It has tight controlled basses and pleasantly warm trebles.
I have enhanced the guitar and increased its dynamic range. I have also tuned the top to the notes of A and E so the whole guitar resonates and sings.
The guitar has some light scratches on the lower side. This does not have any effect on its beautiful sound.
