This guitar was hand made by the master luthier Osamu Sakamoto in the late 1960s or early 1970s. Sakamoto was one of the greatest luthiers of his time unfortunately he was not known in the west and is almost forgotten. He leaves behind a legacy of wonderful and very sort after guitars, which are only known to high-end guitar collectors. Sakamoto had 3 different labels for his guitars: Artemis, Angel and Osamu Sakamoto.
These guitars sell for no less than $5000 USD if you are lucky to find one. Considering that, this guitar is a bargain.
This guitar sounds wonderful. It has a well-balanced sound and is very loud.
The basses are deep and solid, and the trebles are crystal clear.
It has great sustain and wonderful note separation. You can hear each note separately at any volume.
