The Matsuoka M50 is one of my all-time favourites whether it was made in the 1970s or up to 2013 before the factory moved to China.
This guitar was made in 2000 when the factory was still small and made by a select number of luthiers in Japan.
The tone is characteristic of an M50 which is well balanced with deep defined basses and crystal clear trebles. This is very different from the model that follows it, the M60 which is lighter in construction and has a warmer sound.
It has some signs of wear but it's in fantastic conditions overall. Please refer to the photos.
