The M50 is one of my favourite models despite owning many guitars.
It's my go-to guitar.
This particular guitar has a wide frequency spectrum and it is well balanced across all frequencies, which means it produces an open and resonant sound.
It has wonderful deep basses and clear yet warm trebles which is pleasing to the ear.
This is one of the last guitars made in Japan before the Matsuoka factory closed down.
Matsuoka re-open its factory in China, but its new guitar line is no match compared to Japanese made guitars such as this one.
Ryoji Matsuoka started making guitars in 1950s and open his workshop in 1960s. He made guitars for major brands such as Hauser, Kohno, Aria, and many others. He also made guitars for his own label.
