Ryoji Matsuoka No.10 (1963) Classical Guitar
This is one of the oldest Matsuoka guitars I have in my collection. Hand made in Nagoya, Japan in 1963 it is a wonderful guitar.
It's loud yet warm with plenty of sustain and overtones.
It shows some minor signs of aging but none that affects its beautiful tone.
There's a lighter colour patch on the top. That was due to a sticker, while the rest of the guitar aged being exposed to UV light over the years, the patch under the sticker remained unaffected and hence the paler colour.
