The Zen-On Minstrel guitar is a folk classical guitar.
It has the shape of a classical guitar but the bracings are that of an acoustic steel-string guitar. It can be used for both nylon strings and steel strings.
Of particular interest are the arch motive on the headstock and on the fingerboard at the soundhole resembling a minstrel's hat.
The saddle also features an interesting design. The saddle is fastened to the bridge by a wooden wedge which allows for intonation adjustment if you wanted to use steel strings.
The action can also be adjusted by sliding the saddle up and down along the slot in the bridge.
The beautiful tuners with orange-rose button fit in with the overall design of the guitar.
This guitar has a wonderful and unique sound. It's a cross between a classical guitar and a steel-string guitar.
This guitar is a collector's item.
It is extremely rare.
And It's in fantastic condition for a 68 years old guitar!!!
