Giannini AWNM1 Vintage Classical Guitar 1975
Collectors item
Handmade in Brazil in 1975
Solid Spruce Top from the Madeira Islands off the coast of West Africa
Back and sides are Brazilian Jaracanda which was listed an endangered species so logging of this timber has been banned since 1976.
The neck is Mahogany
The fretboard is made of Brazilian Pau Ferro which is very hard, probably harder than ebony
Distinctive headstock
Made with the local Brazilian tonewood except for the top
It has a beautiful sound
Low action easy to play
Very rare to find
In near new condition as seen in the photos
The small size is comfortable and is perfect for people with small hands or children.
Enhancements:
I've reshaped the braces to make the guitar more resonant and increase the sustain. The guitar is very loud for its small size. It's probably the loudest parlour size guitar in my collection.
The action is set at medium which allows for maximum volume with no buzzing.
The strings are premium D'Addario High Tension Carbon Strings which gives extra shimmer on the trebles and deep clear basses.
Please Watch the demo video for this guitar in the photos section.
