Kawai Musical Instruments Co was established in 1886, they are known for their pianos, grand pianos, and electronic keyboard. Up to the 1970s, they were also making classical guitars and acoustic guitars. Most of the guitars found on the secondhand market are of low quality and geared towards beginners. However, Kawai's workshops were producing luxurious high-end instruments targeting professional/concert instrumentalists.
Because they were little known for their guitars, Kawai priced their guitars lowering than other companies, offering great value for money at higher quality and specs.
Kawai focused on making pianos from the late 1970s, so guitars like this are very hard to come by.
This guitar is in amazing condition, like new.
It is loud and very responsive. It has great note separation and very lyrical.
It has a thick neck so it will be straight in years to come, it's also good for people with larger hands.
