Yamaki GC-15 Concert Classical Guitar

The Yamaki guitar brand was founded by the Teradaira brothers who started making guitars in the late 1940s.

In 1962 they started Daion, an instrument distribution company that took the Yamaki brand across the world.

At the time they had to compete with the big companies such as Yamaha, Takamine and Alvarez. So they built better instruments and sold them at a lower price.

Daion stopped making guitars following the mid-1980s when people were more interested in keyboards and synthesizers.

The GC-15 is light and lively to play.  It has great sustain and projection.
